Prior to submitting your resume for application to the Internship Program at RAI Corporation, please review the following eligibility requirements:
1. Candidates must complete their internship within 18 months of their university graduation or currently be enrolled in a program of study. This is to ensure that your educational institution will protect all interns under their worker's compensation insurance policies.
2. Candidates must be able to speak, read and write English at an intermediate to advanced level. For selected candidates, there will be a phone interview to test verbal English skills.
3. Candidates should submit a resume with a cover letter written in English. Those candidates who do not submit a cover letter will not be included in the selection process.
4. Interested applicants must submit their resumes and cover letters during the submission period listed in the Dates and Deadlines section. Resumes received after the deadlines, will be excluded from the selection process.
5. Interested applicants must be available to attend the entire Internship Period. Selected interns will not be allowed to arrive later than the start date.
6. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with a demonstrated specialization in media, journalism or finance.
7. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with work/internship experience in the department of application (media, journalism, or finance).
8. There is no financial assistance available through RAI Corporation. Selected interns will not receive reimbursement of expenses, housing or travel arrangements, or financial compensation. Please explore these financial considerations and options prior to application.
9. Prior to applying, all applicants should already be in possession of their electronic passport, which is required for entry into the United States. Failure to do this could result in losing your place in the internship program.
